Gary Zander, Superintendent for the Mandan Water Treatment Facility, was presented with the Operator Meritorious Service Award from the American Water Works Association (AWWA). The award is presented to recognize special performance by operators for compliance with public health standards, plant maintenance, development of new ideas, training, outstanding achievement beyond normal operating responsibilities, and consistent operation of distribution lines, pumps stations, and reservoirs.

Mr. Zander has worked for the City of Mandan for over 40 years. He received recognition for his hard work and dedication in providing safe, reliable drinking water to the residents of the City of Mandan.
